I feel an overwhelming sense of pride in our club, our courageous competitors and all the support. Thank you for being part of a very successful competition. On behalf of Nottingham Judo and C.F. Judo club, I want to thank our volunteers for their help today. The whole thing ran very smoothly and efficiently. Super proud of our inexperienced Judoka; stepping on to the Tatami and having their first taste of competitive Judo. Less than 10 places left at our very own Competition! We have 13 entered from our club.
There will NO Judo at the club on Sunday 28th April; so we can all support our players, help with the running of the comp and enjoy the event.

Felt proud of the judo, mentality and the results these two 'Carlton Forum Judoka' got today at the Nottingham Open. Both haven't competed for a long time and this has hopefully given them a thirst for more. Klaudijus 4th Kyu (Orange belt) was asked if he would fight up a few categories against a 1st kyu (Brown Belt) - in which he won two out the three fights resulting in a Gold medal 💪🏼🏅. Alexander side stepped the Cadet competition and entered his first senior competition. Masterfully winning his first fight in style, before losing the next two. One of which he very nearly won with a great J

Welcome new Judoka! Thank you for being patient on the waiting list, some for as long as three months. I hope you all enjoyed your first session at our club. As busy as it was, the session seemed to go very well and we hope you took away some new knowledge about the fantastic sport of Judo. We look forward to seeing you all next week.

It has been a fantastic year for Carlton Forum Judo Club, in general our Judoka have achieved so much, and some in particular have really excelled. Judo is still on today regardless of the snow. The Club founder 'Neville Watkinson' would always make sure he got to the club to run Judo sessions. This standard of commitment has been passed down from coach to coach over the years, and long may it continue.❄️ 🥋💙

Christmas break info:
The Christmas Party & Awards session on Sunday Dec 17th will be the last Judo session of the year - as sessions will not be held on Christmas eve 24/12/23 and New Years eve 31/12/23.
The first session back will be on Sunday 7th Jan 2024.
