Reminder:

We now run a session called ‘The Gentle Way’. The session is aimed at people over the age of 50 years to not only support them to keep fit and healthy but also to prevent falls within the older generation.

The session is held every Saturday 9am-10am and is £5 a session. If you miss a session we do not charge. The session is held within a calming environment with calming Japanese music playing, relaxation oils scenting the room from an oil burner and Japanese flags upon the wall. Our oldest member of this group is 85 so age is not a barrier, feel free to come along and give it a go

Everyone at Westerleigh would like to thank the Deputy Mayor of Bexhill, Connor Winter - Independent District & Town Councillor for St Marks for joining us on our trip to the Pan - Disability World and European Judo Championships in Holland.
Connor took the roll of official photographer for our club over the long weekend. He was amazing at supporting the athletes and volunteers team and we cannot thank him enough, he is a real credit to the Bexhill Community.

What better way to end a fantastic year of Judo than to have a visit from Father Christmas. Even the coaches got a present from Father Christmas.

We just wanted to say a massive well done to each and every one of our athletes. This year they’ve all shown great dedication and determination to their sport.

We cannot forget our amazing team of volunteers and coaches who without them Westerleigh wouldn’t exist. Each week they take time out of their day to support our athletes and we couldn’t be more thankful!

A Massive well done to everyone! We’ve had an excellent year of judo with lots of c

As part of our Christmas coffee morning we raised money for Conquest Hospital’s Paediatric A+E Department. From the money raised a couple of our volunteers were able to go shopping and purchase presents to donate to the children who will be in the department over Christmas!

Thank you to everyone who took part in the coffee morning, purchasing of the gifts and delivering them. Our biggest thank you must go to the staff who will be working over the Christmas period in the hospital!

Once again well done Team Westerleigh 🥋
