Sometimes it takes someone to remind you, how lucky you are. Bill Sargent Jnr pointed out that we really have an amazing diversity of players at our club. I have to agree as here is a regular night training over the summer holiday time when many clubs close, with Veterans, Adaptive, National, Visitors, Juniors, Advanced and Beginners. Not forgetting our players as young as 14 wanting to join the senior practise. Well done all, us coaches are very proud to inspire all corners of the judo community AND MOST OF ALL proud to have you.

I was honoured to be a Coach for three of my Adaptive competitors that took part in the prestigious European Judo Union Tournament July 2024 held in Swansea, Wales. Quite a daunting trip for our players who have Autism and ADHD and are happier at our home club. Kagan is our experienced competitor with Siobhan having a little experience and Scott never having competed before. Kagan is our youngest at 12 years. He's a shining example of what can be done with hard work and now believe it or not, he is also the mainstream British Champion in his weight group. Siobhan has Autism and has a very diff

Awesome Young Referee's Intro Course put on by Dave Stanley IJF - International Judo Federation . Without these courses given free by volunteers how would we bring the young onto the tatami in an official capacity. Well Done All.

AMAZING Day for BEXLEY at the London Youth Games. Pretty much every year we enter LYG we come away with a medal. In the past we have won Boys Team, Bronze, Silver and Gold. We are so happy NOW The Girls Team have taken there first Bronze medal, ever and the brand new Boy Team that have little competition experience ALSO Won Bronze. Well Done to ALL the clubs that supported Bexley Borough. Picture also shows Emily who won Gold in the Greenwich Borough team. Even she couldn't contain her excitement. Congratulations ALL.
