We’re #aruproud of Professor Shahina Pardhan, Director of ARU’s Vision and Eye Research Institute (VERI) who has been shortlisted in the 1st British Asian Women’s Awards 2024.
Shahina has been shortlisted in the Achievements in Education category for her research and training which has made a significant contribution to reducing the risk of diabetic retinopathy in thousands of people of South Asian origin in the UK and other parts of the world. Other research achievements are in the areas of reducing the risk and impact of low vision.
