New research uncovers the unique vocal abilities of lemurs!

Published in Scientific Reports, the study reveals that lemurs possess an extraordinary vocal structure—a pair of additional vocal folds unlike any other primate. Co-authored by Dr Jacob Dunn from ARU, the study sheds light on how these vocal folds enhance lemurs' communication and exaggerate their perceived size.
