Battlehill Judo Club travelled to Scotland to compete in the Hibari Kan Grand Prix tournament, in Motherwell.
The event was very well attended with 387 entries competing over 5 contest areas.
Seven of Bettlehill Judoka took part, Harrison Johnson won 4 fights with a new repertoire of techniques in the Minors category to secure a worthy Gold Medal.
Luke Woodall defeated all of his opponents in the group stage, and won the quarter final match to make the final where he was defeated with the throw of the day to return with a Silver medal (and a big smile).
