CLEAN MATS - BUT DON'T FORGET YOUR FLIP FLOPS
We steamed our mats today, as we do every other week (we also deep clean them with H202 every second week).
Be it because of judo, wrestling, bjj, sambo, or whatever else, we've been on those mats for 5 years plus, and (touch wood) NEVER had a skin infection to record on our accident book.
But, to be clear, if you don't want to get MRSA, staph, tinea pedis, ringwarm etc... you should always wear a pair of sandals/flip flops off the mats.
No excuses and don't take it personally if we tell you to.
