Today on Wednesday 28th February 2024 marks ten years since I first started ‘Jake Borrett’s Writing Blog’.
When I began, I set out with the aim that if I was able to help one person feel less alone in the world then it was worth sharing my experiences of what it is like to live with Crohn’s disease and dyspraxia, and then later, with anxiety and depression.
Since 2014, I have written lots of poetry, short stories, scripts and articles exploring what it is like to live with hidden disabilities and mental health conditions. I have had the opportunity to speak
