Well done to all the children who turned out to compete in our Judo festival at Lisnasharragh this morning. And thanks to all the parents who may well have thought they were competing too with the stifling heat in the hall.

A fabulous performance by all our members at the 2023 Northern Ireland Schools Judo Championships. 🥋
For some it was their first experience of competition.
Some fantastic throws and some really great battles.
Most importantly a lot of valuable experience gained.
Most encouraging was how our players conducted themselves in defeat and often bounced back with a win after it.
Although they were competing for their school, those from Malone Judo Club accumulated 2 Gold, 4 Silver and 3 Bronze. 🏅

A busy weekend for our Judokas.
Some ventured to Antrim Forum for Ulster Squad Training whilst others attended the joint club training session in Lisburn.
