Hope everyone is doing ok in these strange times. Just an update for you all with regards to the club.
It’s pretty obvious that we are unable to open at this time, we are following and monitoring British Judo guidelines very closely. But as we are a contact sport it may be a while before we are permitted to reopen which is a hard pill to swallow, however, the safety of our players and coaches is our highest priority.
However, British Judo have advised that we are able to encourage players to keep fit and also allow us to do one grading for free per player via video link whilst we a

Important information below:
We are excited to announce that we will be reopening on Friday 4th June - we have had to change evenings due to availability of the Leisure Centre, classes will now also run from 7.15-8.15pm.
Government guidelines now allow for children under 18 to take part in contact sports.
There are some guidelines that the club need to adhere to:
🔸 we can only have a bubble of up to 15 players (which need to be the same each week) who are under 18 years old
🔸 we are only looking to accept existing players into this bubb
Important information below:

We are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow night 🙌 🥋 it’s been a long 16 months without any training.

⭐️ we ask that for now cash payments are made of £4 per session in a named envelope which is given to your coach on arrival
⭐️ you will need to access the leisure centre through the door located on the back left hand side of the centre, this door will be open and your coach will be waiting to greet you 😀

Unfortunately due to a confirmed case of COVID 19 within the club we have taken the decision not to run this Fridays class.
Anyone from last weeks class who was in close contact with the case have already been informed and should follow government guidelines and get a PCR test as soon as possible.

Firstly Happy New Year to all our members 🎉 we hope you had a fantastic Christmas break and recharged your batteries ready for the return of training 🥋
Classes are back to normal from this Friday evening 6.45-7.45pm at Teme Leisure Ludlow.
We still have spaces available for new players to join us and of course we welcome anyone who has done judo in the past and would like to get back into it.

Just a quick reminder and also if you weren’t at class last week we will now be starting sessions at 6.45pm for the normal 1 hour and then a further 1/2 hour from 7.45-8.15pm just for competition and senior players to give them an extra randori time 🥋 when the mat isn’t so full

We understand that Friday nights class will clash with the big game against the USA ⚽️ 🏴 🇺🇸
However, we still intend to run the class as normal but just need to get an idea of how many will be attending as we require so many to make the class run

Therefore, we’d prefer all of our parents and players to stay home and be safe and not risk making their way to training as we are aware a lot of you guys travel from outside of Ludlow
Let’s hope spring reappears next week and we can continue training as normal
