We’re looking forward to welcoming guest coach Ben Caldwell tomorrow night to our dojo. Ben trains full-time at Camberley judo club and fights internationally so has plenty of technique and experience to share. We hope to see many of you there. 🤩🥋🏆

Exciting news! Jessie Edwards and Ben Caldwell are visiting Comberton on Wednesday 13th July. We are very much looking forward to welcoming them and learning about some of their favourite techniques.

We had a couple of great guest sessions with full time judoka Ben Caldwell and Jessie Edwards this week! Think everyone got a lot out of the classes, and it was great to see so much energy despite the heat! Can't wait to have Ben & Jess back again soon for another visit 💪

And just like that, summer's over! Many of our members are back to school this week, and Comberton Judo sessions are back too, from Wednesday 7th September!
Looking forward to seeing lots of you back this term, and we're always happy to see new faces if you're thinking of giving it a go!

A fantastic day out for the club yesterday at the Eastern Area Closed Judo Championships in Thetford. We had 10 players compete in the event who all put on a great display of judo and team spirit. Massive well done to everyone and a big thank you to those that came along to support. 🥋🏅🦍🏆

Great to see Ben Caldwell delivering a guest workshop at Ely Dojo this weekend! We look forward to having Ben back over to Comberton sometime next term too, and will be sure to return the invitation to our Ely friends!

📢There’s no training this week (half term) ⚠️ but we thought we’d send you a couple of videos on the O Goshi (major hip) throw we looked at last session.
👉 The first video is a zoom into some details of how to make the classic throw effective by the great Neil Adams.
👉 The second is from the awesome Kayla Harrison showing how she readjusts her entry in competition to make it more effective (note how she already controls the space between her and her opponent ready for entry by pulling in the arm around the back).
👉 We’re going to be looking further into opportunities w
