This time two weeks our second Kata event with Martin Savage will be well under way. We spots still left, so drop me a DM or email.
It's also a coaching revalidation event and at £25 it's for next to nothing for two Kata courses.
If anyone wants to do the Kata exams, there will be time to do them both.

Well now that the Nage No Kata is over, we look forward to welcoming back Martin Savage on Saturday 18th May for our second Kata event, and it's a double Kata course - Katame no Kata & Go-go-no-sen Kata.. Today was a couple of firsts for Chikara, our first ever judo event, first ever Kata event.
A big thank you to everyone who came and supported the event, it's greatly appreciated and we hope you enjoyed it.
Also a big thank you to my wife for helping out with the catering, it was a big hit.
To everyone who passed the Kata exam at the end, many congratulations and I am sure we will have sore limbs tomorrow.

Hard to believe that six years ago, Chikara opened its doors for the first time. The amazing Taughmonagh Primary School let's us hold the classes in the assembly hall each Thursday until we moved to our existing location.
Without the support for my amazing wife and kids, the club would have never started and they still do soon much for the club.
