We're here at Redditch Judo Club's Ne Waza contest. We'd like to wish everybody the best of luck today!

We had a wonderful time at the Ne-Waza contest today and came away with a good set of results! Silver for Brandon, 3rd bronze for Craig and Bronze for Arif! Well done guys!
Also, brilliant masterclass with Steve Gawthorpe that followed! One of Judos most genuine and well respected Judoka delivered an excellent technical session!

A massive congratulations to Francis and Arif for taking part in the Rod Lane Kyu Grades Open at Samurai Judo Club!
Francis took Gold in his first ever Judo contest winning all his fights by Ippon and Arif taking away a well earned bronze after a spectacular display of Juji-Gatame!

How it started vs how it finished! Francis at the Sheffield University Kyu Grade Tournament. Won his 1st, broke his hand in the 2nd, was unable to escape osaekomi on the 3rd due to hand, then won his 4th with a broken hand! 🏆🥋
Throughout, his Judo was fantastic to watch accompanied by great sportsmanship! Very well done!
We wish Francis a speedy recovery and to be back on the mat in no time!

Tonight was the last Judo session of the year at Beeches Judo Club!
We will be back in the New Year on Sunday 13th January!

Congratulations to Francis and Arif for competing in the Samurai Senior Mens Kyu Grade competition today and coming away with bronze medals each! 🥉🥉🥋

A huge congratulations goes to Brandon for not only fighting in the Samurai Senior Mens Kyu Grade competition open weight, but taking away a gold medal and earning himself 50 points towards his Dan Grade! 🥋🥇

A big congratulations to Sean, Francis, Luke and Arif for competing in the Rod Lane Kyu Grade Open today.
Sean's first ever contest and he performed very well getting to experience the adrenaline from full contest and also got his first win under his belt!
Francis was in the biggest category of the event and fought and fought his way through taking away a Bronze Medal!
Luke, after only hearing about the contest last night signed up and managed to take away a win after not being on the mat for a while!
Finally, Arif worked hard both in Tachi Waza and Ne Waza and it paid off with him taking
