We are hosting a London youth games training day on Thursday 30th May at All Saints Catholic School. This camp be good prep ahead of the event and will bring together our clubs members from across East London including our former 3x consecutive champions from Hackney JC and our current champions from All Saints Judo academy in Barking & Dagenham. Everyone is welcome including beginners so bring a friend along even if not competing at the youth games it’ll be great development and

Looking forward to the World Judo Championships, which start this Sunday, 19 May. Team GB has 9 fighters taking part and hoping to gain medals and additional qualification points for this summers Olympic Games in Paris.

We had a very special guest in 2 x Paralympain Dan Powell who taught us some of his great Judo techniques.

We also got to have a scrap with him.

He is so strong and good it was an absolute pleasure having him tonight. Thank you so much Dan for visiting us We all enjoyed it.

Hot one tonight but a fantastic session with everyone putting in 💯 effort!

Everyone had a moment where they shined which we were very proud to see!

In the kids class we saw Flynn pass his red belt grading with flying colours! Flynn is as tough as they come and never backs down from a challenge! Well done Flynn! 🙌

In the adults class we blended technical and games in a relaxed session, before turning the intensity up for some standing to ground transition work followed by randori!

After previously winning the qualifying event, yesterday afternoon our Year 4 football team represented East Cornwall at the ESFA County Finals against the 5 winning teams from Central and West Cornwall.
We played some excellent football, winning the opening 4 games and only lost out to a single goal in the final minutes of the very last game! 😭

Our young team have been outstanding throughout this competition and were so close to becoming Cornwall champions. Well done 👍👌⚽️

Last night, Kites soared into an exhilarating boxing evening, led by the seasoned boxer and coach, Luke Shears.

With patience and precision, he guided the children through fundamental moves, eliciting laughter and determination as they honed their newfound skills. But, this wasn’t just about punches and combinations; they delved into thrilling team games, igniting laughter and cheers from everyone. Our Beachbots spent the weekend in Harrogate, competing in the FIRST LEGO League UK National Final!

The day began with three intense robot games, and while the first two didn't quite go to plan, our Beachbots excelled in the third and final game, and showcased their skills brilliantly. Not only were the children faced with a series of games, they also had to tackle the Innovation Project. This entailed presenting their app to the judges and, by all accounts, they were left impressed by their creativity and ingenuity.

James and Megan also experienced a fantastic opportunity to be interviewe

The Bears programme is for the ages 11-13 years.

Each session is a blend of skill-building drills, challenging techniques and interactive games.

We are excited to welcome Luke Shears to Beachborough, on Monday 29th April 2024, for a 'Box & Board' night! 🥊

The session will include the fundamentals of boxing and team-based games, and also incorporate boxing-themed workouts. We are encouraging children from FIII-FVIII (both regular and non-regular boarders), to join Luke for a fun-filled evening!

Boxing sessions are known to improve self-confidence and hand-eye coordination, alongside improving physical fitness and agility. You won't want to miss it!
