He was a dynamic force in the category, winning medal after medal with panache, power and incredible skill. However, in 2019 he made the unbearable decision to end his life, at only 36, and the judo family....

Summer holidays are now in full swing and the club will be closing to allow players and coaches time to enjoy and recharge their batteries.
Our last Friday session will be 2nd August and our last Monday session will be 5th August, all sessions will be back to normal on Friday 30th August.

Congratulations to Husnah Tarab, who has achieved two remarkable milestones this year. Just five weeks before sitting her final Medicine exams, Husnah welcomed her daughter, Yara Selene, into the world. Despite the challenges of recovering from a caesarean section, she successfully completed her exams and graduated from ARU last week.

Her journey was made possible through the unwavering support of her partner, family, and peers at ARU’s School of Medicine. Husnah is now celebrating both her new role as a doctor and as a mother.

It’s with great sadness and very heavy hearts that we bid farewell to a legend.

Our very own 7th Dan, Club President, Head coach and all round hero, Trevor Davies has sadly lost his 9 month battle with cancer.

He will be so truly missed by us and everyone that knew him.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family.

A sad day for us all as we say our final goodbye to Trevor Davies our head coach, club president and all-round legend.

You have meant so much to so many, rest in peace Trevor, our hearts go out to your family, friends and all who knew you.
